Among them, in response to the Xi'an Metro "problem cable" incident, multiple departments across the province launched activities to combat the sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods and to crack down on behaviors that disrupt the market economic order. In April, the Shaanxi provincial government held a meeting and decided to start from the field of engineering construction to comprehensively and continuously rectify the market environment. Shaanxi issued the "Overall Work Plan for Rectifying the Market Environment and Strengthening Quality Supervision in Engineering Construction in Shaanxi Province," instructing the lead departments in various related fields to formulate specific action plans and carry out special rectification actions on the market environment. Up to now, a total of 48,746 business households operating key commodities have been inspected, and 2,847 cases including the production and sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods, false advertising, and unlicensed operations have been investigated and dealt with; 84,630 pieces of problematic goods have been seized, with a value of 21.62 million RMB. The supervision work randomly inspected 313 intermediary agencies and 393 engineering projects, found 20 engineering projects and 134 enterprises involved in bid rigging and collusive bidding, and reported these behaviors across the province. In response to the illegal and non-compliant issues found in the preliminary screening, the province revoked the qualifications of 86 enterprises, expelled 39 enterprises from outside the province that had entered the Shaanxi construction market, and accumulated fines of 45.5185 million RMB.
