The power switch is located between the body and the head. Rotate it 90 degrees in any direction; a "click" sound indicates the power is on, and rotating it back turns it off. Before use, insert the grounding wire at the tail. After turning on the power, the green light will be on. When the red light turns on (about 3-5 seconds), you can test the lightning counter by extending the telescopic conductive rod at the head (which can be pulled out before powering on according to the installation height of the counter). You can test repeatedly without turning off the power (the conductive rod should be away from the test object each time it is charged).
