Functions of Portable Partial Discharge Tester
(1)Professional manufacturer of portable partial discharge testers performs non-contact scanning on running transformers, GIS and other high-voltage primary equipment to detect and locate external discharges;
(2) Live scanning of open (outdoor) equipment in substations to detect and locate various discharges (corona, arcing, flashover, creepage, broken wires, arcing, etc.);

If discharge occurs, the screen of the PD detector cannot show whether it is internal or external. Using a handheld patrol locator for scanning can quickly detect and locate external discharge; if no external discharge is found, it is judged as internal discharge. For factory PD tests of dry-type transformers, using this device with a PD tester can quickly distinguish between internal and external discharge. Additionally, scanning live dry-type transformers can accurately and quickly detect and locate both internal and external discharges;
(7) Mechanical faults in bearings of large machinery due to poor lubrication can be detected and located with this device;
(8) Leak detection of high-pressure sealed gases and liquids;
