I. Overview
BC5130 Mining Cable Fault Tester: Coal mines are major users of cables. Due to the harsh underground working conditions, the annual damage rate of various cables is relatively high. To save costs and reduce production expenses, most mines have equipped themselves with their own cable maintenance teams. However, due to limitations in testing equipment and techniques, flaw detection testing often falls short of expectations when repairing cables such as those used in fully mechanized mining, and the method of forced breakdown, which causes significant damage to cable insulation, is often employed. This device is based on the partial discharge method, which does not destroy the original structure of the cable, to detect flaws simply and accurately, and it also has the function of testing after repair. Therefore, it is a fully reliable tool in current coal mine cable maintenance operations.
