The KC-900S intelligent multiple pulse method cable fault tester can test high, low resistance faults in all cables up to 35KV, with strong adaptability. It adopts the "three pulse method" multiple pulse sampling technology, which does not require manual waveform selection and can automatically determine distance. While the impact high voltage flashover occurs, it sends a group of eight fault test pulses with different delays, and one impact high voltage flashover can obtain typical eight groups of three pulse waveforms. Any high resistance fault waveform appears as a cable short circuit fault waveform similar to that tested by the low voltage pulse method. The software is well-designed, with full Chinese menu display and touch screen button operation, making it simple and quick. The test results are fast and accurate; it has complete functions, and also includes the traditional low voltage pulse method and impact high voltage flashover method; a large LCD screen serves as the display terminal, with powerful data processing functions and a friendly display interface, and a large data memory space; it has high voltage sampling protection to ensure reliable operation in impact high voltage and strong electric field environments. It has test waveform storage function, which can store a large number of field test waveforms for later viewing.
