The Cable Identifier consists of three parts: a signal generator, a receiving identification clamp, and an indicator meter. When using the receiving identification clamp signal detector, the signals detected on other cables are much weaker and in the opposite direction. By indicating the amplitude and direction through the meter, the cable under test can be easily determined.
